What power is hiding in your Pluto?

Pluto can be scary. It’s the Underworld. Who wakes up every day ready to go to the dark depths and face that place?

So, it gets a bad wrap.

If your initial reaction to diving into what your Pluto is all about is…well, frought with oh no, what is so bad in me that I have to kill it off ?

I get it.

We all have our traumas in life. Those experiences that are painful. Many times they are labeled as the ‘skeletons in our closet’ and many of us weren’t allowed to ever bring them into the light of day.

And those traumas could be any number of things – emotional, physical, mental or sexual abuse, poverty, the loss of a loved one, a devastating illness, severe accident, war, experiencing crime, addictions, neglect, bullying…the list goes on.

And while we might’ve been taught that our trauma wasn’t really that bad or that we should shake it off, get over it or stop thinking about it, the fact is, whatever it was, was most likely shoved deep into our unconscious.

Maybe because you couldn’t process it at the time.

Or, you weren’t allowed to.

You might even view trauma as something those people over there experienced, but not me.

I was the favored child...

The smartest in the family...

the over-achiever...

the most popular...

the best looking...

the shiny star who never failed…

I never experienced any traumas…might be how you feel.

Or...I was an amazing artist with an extraordinary imagination, but hey, you can’t earn a living doing that, am I right!?!...so that silly shit had to go…

So you buried that desire deep inside...

Or…I was so funny as a kid, I really wanted to be a clown. I bought the costume, had the big shoes, even had a head of naturally curly red hair! But that isn’t classy enough to do your whole life, so I threw it away once I left for college and focused on becoming a lawyer….

So, you ignored that talent...

I could list many examples of things that people experience that isn’t seen as trauma, just the normal ‘shit’ of being a human.

The thing is, unless you grew up with very emotionally healthy parents or teachers and not one single negative thing ever happened to you, there was something that came along in your life that was your dark night of the soul, or your scary, bad, must-never-talk-about-this thing that was either shoved into your dark depths, or seen as normal or just a ‘get over it’ experience.

What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger, yes?

These things, regardless of their position on the ‘most horrific’ or just a part of being human list fall under Pluto’s reign.

I recall being in a car with 3 other women, driving home from a church conference.

The topic of sexual abuse was brought up and one lady asked, who in this car has experienced that? Three lifted their hands. The fourth lady’s jaw dropped. She felt so bad for us three. She had never experienced anything so horrible.

A year later, that woman was in a serious car accident. Someone tried to steal her baby when its car seat was thrown 20 feet from the car and she almost died a few months later when she discovered she had a huge brain bleed that wasn’t caught at the time.

She went through brain surgery and had to relearn to write and talk.

No matter what or when these ‘awful’ things happen to us, it changes us. We transform because of it…or, we don’t and bury it deep within.

Pluto.

This course is specifically about our Pluto card(s) within our Life Path spread.

In all my years of doing readings and working with this system, what I hear the most is, I don’t understand what my Pluto card is about…

It can be confusing.

Especially when you hear things like:

Pluto is not being mean or bad to us, it just brings us to depths that we might not feel ready for and can feel traumatic.

Whatever we have forgotten or repressed or what simply has been dormant, Pluto demands that we face it.

When we emerge, we will forever be transformed.

There is a notable difference between those who have met their Pluto and those who have not yet.

Eventually we must all meet this part of us.

When you begin to heal those dark places in your life, innately, a desire surfaces in you.

That healing then heals others and your desires can manifest as something meaningful that takes shape in your life.

This is you rising from the ashes.
